Section of Film studies and creative media industries welcomes visiting scholar Dr. Katja Driesel-Lange
In the first two weeks of June, Professor Dr. Katja Driesel-Lange will visit the Section of Film studies and creative media industries. She is one of Germany's leading researchers in career guidance and will be contributing on the project Streaming for Talent.
Katja Driesel-Lange is a professor for eduction science with focus on career guidance at the University of Münster. Her main research areas are career development, career guidance interventions and the professionalization of career guidance actors. Teaching focusses on the training of teachers in career guidance. In addition, she advises on the evaluation of career guidance and offers scientific support for the work of foundations and policy advice.
Current projects include an interdisciplinary project on the influence of series on study choices (Jochen Kinast, Johannes Riis), cooperative support for young people on work placements, career guidance in the context of school development and career guidance in primary schools.
