Current research
Currently I am involved in the following projects:
Digital Literary Influencers: A study of the consequences of digitalization on readers, publishers, booksellers and libraries. In this transnational comparative project (US & DK), we will examine how the use of social media and peer-to-peer dissemination of literature via online channels such as Booktube and Booktok changes how books are disseminated, promoted, and consumed.
Children, technology and context: A study of the connection between language, situated experience, embodied cognition, and technology. We study e.g. how the use of smart technology enhances the experiences of nature, and how the physical and social environment influences reading.
