I am an associate professor at the department where I teach and research in information science, information science and its relationships to language and linguistics, classical information organization and information retrieval. My interests, both in teaching and research, lie also on the fields of cultural studies, learning and e-learning and digital writing.
Currently, I am engaged in several research activities. Together with my colleague Julian Warner, Belfast, I am preparing a research network application to the Independent Research Fund Denmark (project title: LI&IL - Language in information, information in language). I participate in a research group on the New Zealand logician Arthur Prior, where I did som research on scholarly communication and website delvelopment.
I am associated with several other research groups, hereunder the research groups information organization and practice studies, both located at INF.
