My primary research areas are within screen production and location studies with a focus on the Arctic and the Nordic region. Among other things, I have published on Arctic and Nordic screen production in and about Greenland, Greenlandic film production, Danish Greenlandic literature, location work, transnational collaboration, and runaway production.

I am interested in screen production in (ultra)small nations, the use of location, and how place specific conditions influence production processes.

Among other things, I have taught the course Fiction Theory and Analysis at the programme in Film and Media Studies at UCPH, a lecture on Arctic screen industries at University of Greenland, the course Media Analysis at the programme in Danish at UCPH, and supervised MA and BA students.
