David Budtz Pedersen organised the session Global Excellence: New Drivers and Innovative Solutions at this year's annual meeting of the AAAS in Chicago

Humanomics Research Centre was well represented following competitive selection for thematic sessions at the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Annual Meeting (AAAS): "Meeting Global Challenges – Discovery & Innovation" 13-17 February, 2014.
 
The session “Global Excellence: New Drivers and Innovative Solutions” featured the President of The European Research Council (ERC), Professor Jean-Pierre Bourguignon, Vice-Chancellor of McGill University, Suzanne Fortier, President of Nanyang Technological University, Bertil Andersson and former Secretary-General of the Swedish Academy of Science, Gunnar Öquest.
