Keynote by Jens-Erik Mai at iConference 2025
Head of Department and Professor Jens-Erik Mai is attending iConference 2025: Living in an AI-gorithmic World. The iConference is one of the premier events in the international information science community, attracting participants from around the globe.
This year, the conference explores the implications of collecting, storing, retrieving, using, and distributing information in a world increasingly shaped by algorithmic processes, generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and related technologies.
In his keynote, Jens-Erik Mai will present work from the collective research project “Don’t Take it Personal – Privacy and Information in an Algorithmic Age", and discuss how the concept of information we adopt in the 'AI-gorithmic world' influences the ways we approach and address the challenges ahead.
