Film education and digital literacy

As film platforms and patterns of production and distribution evolves the principles of film education will have to be rethought as well.

This research group meeting will take place at the Danish film institute in collaboration with Claus Hjort, head of the department of Children and Youth head of the secretariat of the Media council. He will give an introduction to the department and to the international network on film education and ‘creative learning’. Furthermore Thilde Emilie Møller will present her PhD thesis about films education in schools.
