Tariq Modood and Thomas Sealy’s The New Governance of Religious Diversity (Cambridge: Polity, 2024) provides a comprehensive framework for the study and discussion of relations between state and religion and the governing of minority religious groups.
Modood and Sealy provide a descriptive framework for the comparative study of how different countries handle issues of religion and religious minorities and a normative frame for discussing how these issues should be handled.
Department of Communication hosts a debate on the central themes of the book. Participants will be:
