My research interest lies in the interplay of nutrition, the gut microbiome and host metabolism and its effect on development and disease of preterm infants in their early life. Major analytical approaches adopted include multi-omics analyses and epidemiology for studies based on human cohorts and clinical trial as well as animal models. I am also interested in implementation of various computational statistical (machine learning) modelling in data mining of -omics data.
