Current Research

My PhD project explores educational guidance of 8th and 9th grade students at schools in problematized public housing areas. I investigate how social categories such as gender, class, race and place intersect in the educational guidance work with the students as well as in the students' own dreams for their future. 

The project draws on queer-, affect- and feminist geographic theory.

The project is supervised by Trine Øland and is a part of the research group The History and Sociology of Welfare Work.
