My current work, which is slowly crystallizing into a dissertation, revolves around the unfolding effects of information technologies and their systematization in contemporary society and the political responses they motivate. The dissertation integrates the different topics of research that I find both interesting and vital for understanding ongoing transformations in the societies we inhabit. Additionally, I draw on inspiration from these topics for developing a theoretical language for describing such transformations.

    These topics include

    • Platform studies
    • Political economy
    • International relations and geopolitics,
    • Media studies
    • Political philosophy
    • Capitalism in the 20th and 21st century

I'm affiliated with the research project Don't Take it Personal: Privacy and Information in the Digital Age (https://donttakeitpersonal.net/). Working within this project has spurred my interest in privacy and liberalism and informed my theoretical critique of both.

I recently spend some time collaborating with the good people at the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) in Zagreb, Croatia.
